Current rig:

i7 2600k
16GB DDR4
128 GB Crucial R4 SSD
Running 64bit windows 10

currently have the 2GB Radeon 6950 and looking to upgrade for games like Fallout 4 and Starwars Battlefront

is stepping up to a 4GB card worth it for me? cards like the R9 380 seem to fit the bill, but with my current rig, should i be spending more on an upgrade to last me a few more years? or looking for higher clock speeds etc? will a 650W Corsair pro PS be enough for the upgrade? running a hand full of Noctua Fans as well as the Noctua NH-D14 heatsink, thats about it for peripherals plugged into the PS

any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I think I would get the R9 390 8GB card because it's better than the GTX 970 and it has loads of vRAM. The GTX 970 and the R9 390 both perform very close to each other so if you would rather have the Nvidia card for its features then get the Nvidia card.

if you have a CX corsair then get a gtx 970

if you have a good corsair like the TX get the 390
