TL-Wnn722n keeps restarting itself Windows 8.1 pro x64

Even after disabling power save and selective suspend it continues to do this, happens randomly and is a major annoyance.
All USB ports in Device manager have all power save options disabled.
Adapter is updated to the most recent driver.

What sort of signal strength are you getting whilst it is working? I am reading that low signals can cause this adapter to restart. Also people have suggested turning IPV6 off or disabling MAC filtering on your router. Just some things you could try.

I will check later, my signal is usually 3 - 5 bars, more so 4 - 5, don't think it's that.
I will try that the turning off the IPV6 and\or disabling MAC filter and I will get back to you on that.

Late reply, but it seems to do it when utorrent is open, could be high network usage or something else to do with it.

this is one of the best adapters when it works if not the best but it messes up and only solution is turn off and on unfortunately

It turns off and on itself though... That's the problem I am having; and it only seems to happen when using Utorrent.

Ah, that is some vital information! double check the ports you are using on utorrent have been properly forwarded.

Ports seem to be fine, it also happens when network usage is high.
