Thermal Throttling CPU

Youtube vidoes lag on any other browsers than Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer. I think its because my CPU is thermal throttling because when my CPU usage increases my CPU speed goes down to 0,6 GHz. I have a Lenovo Miix 2 11.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 4202Y
Intel HD Graphics 4200
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Samsung 256 GB SSD
Windows 10 Home 64 bit

It is not logic your speed goes down while you usage its more.
Your integrated 4200 would be a problem tho. Are you watching 720 or 1080p? BEcause i have a laptop with 4600 graphics.
And even that one doesnt like to watch those

But I can watch videos at 4k with no lag on Edge and Explorer.

Ok so if using Edge or explorer solves your problem, use that

Google and mozzila does not only pull on video's, but they pull really hard on using the browser itself.
That will be the most important of your problem

I know that and I've tried all kinds of things to lower the CPU usage. Other things in the browser usually don't lag.

Correct, dont try to execute other things, it wont help.
The browser just takes alot, and that 4K video of yours, (or lower) will be the peak that your cpu bothers about

By the way my highest CPU temperature is 50 C so I don't understand why the speed is going down.

I usually don't watch 4k but 1080p videos. 720p lags to.

No this doesnt sound logic, i think its a eco thing. My cpu does the same, so it doesnt surprise me so much

Download real temp. and run it while you do something that lags your computer. Thats the only way to tell if its really thermal tbrottle.
