Hey Guys.my gpu is NVidia GeForce gt 610 and its temp is rising. when my pc is idle the temp is 55c. so I want to undervolt it to reduce some temp. so any guide for undervolting

Solution

Try 75% just to see what happens to the temps.

Okay, the issue is not caused by my original idea. Is your card still under warranty? If not, would you be comfortable reapplying the thermal paste? Is the fan spinning?

i already re applied new thermal paste on it 2 days ago.

How much did you use? Use MSI Afterburner to manually turn the fan up and see if the temperature decreases.

nothing happened

Leave it for a few minutes and see if they drop, did you hear the fan get louder? Does Afterburner show the fan RPM?

my gpu fan never gets louder even if i set it to 100%. no it doesn't shows the rpm and the fan is spinnning

If you scroll down on the graph page on the right, it should be under fan speed. It not getting louder makes me think it's not working properly.

this is my new gpu so there are no chances of not working properly.

but in the graph there is no fan rpm mentioned

You bought it new? Why didn't you send it back when it has this issue? New GPU's can be faulty too.

but they already checked and gave me this gpu. temps are at 50c are they normal?

Who checked it? 50C idle is not normal no, what temp do you get when gaming? I'm not sure if I already asked that.

when i am gaming the temp is 80c

Okay, I'm not sure why your card is idling at such a high temperature but as long as it stays below 85ish under load, you shouldn't have any issues.

so should i not worry about temps of my gpu

Just occasionally keep an eye on them but it should be okay.
