I have updated my build (based on some good advice from this forum). Please advise to see if I can make it better. I know the case doesn't have usb3 in front, but I am ok with it. Like I wrote before the gpu and hd are old that I currently own. I might update those later if needed.

Any particular reason you are willing to pay more, just because it is Amazon? Don't need the Z97 board either. An H97 will suffice. Your setup is $75+ more than it needs to be. Money that could be used on a better HDD, at the very least.

Thanks for looking at the build.

I chose Amazon as I am a prime member. And since this is my first build, I just wanted to be sure I could return or exchange stuff. They have the best policy for free returns.

I chose gigabyte z97 only because with rebate it was 20$ cheaper and only about 15$ more expensive as compared to a h97 mobo (after shipping).

thank again for your reply
