Hey everyone , my GPU (MSI GTX 980ti) is reaching 99% when playing AC:UNITY , everything maxed out. What I want to know is , is it normal and will it damage my GPU if it constantly reaches 99% ?

My config :

Core-i7-4790K
MSI Motherboard- H87-G43
16GB RAM @ 1600 Mhz
Corsair CX-750 Watt PSU

Admirable
Your gpu should be reaching 99% that just means that the rest of your system is allowing it to reach its full potential. Nothing to worry about in fact you should be happy...

What fps do you get? As stated if you enable vsync it will cap your fps and therefore keep your gpu from running at full speed when it doesn't need to.

But the catch is I do have vsync on and it still reaches 99% usage. I get around 60 fps. It does skip 2-5 frames rarely but other than that it's really smooth even with everything maxed out.

Should I lower the game settings or its just fine ?

My GPU is not heating up that's for sure . It's in the 70-75°C range.

GPU's not heating up, that's for sure. It stays in the 70-75 °C range when gaming.

Don't worry than, it's fine. The boost feature will throttle the GPU speed, you won't actually know if it's 100%
