I ordered these pieces from PCPartsPicker following their build guide that was written two weeks ago:
AMD FX-6300
Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P Mobo
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Ram
OCZ Trio 100 120GB SSD
ASUS GeForce GTX 960
Rosewill 450W PSU
I followed their build instructions and the machine booted into the BIOS. I was performing an Acronis universal restore of a prior system - when the system rebooted, no more video. The GPU fans spin for a couple seconds at boot and then stop.
I thought it was a bad mobo so I ordered a replacement, no dice. I have another graphics card in the shop so I tried that one: nothing. Any ideas where to go from here?
