Desktop Takes long time to shut down [ ASUS H97 Pro gamer ]

Im not really sure what to research on this... whether this is a driver issue on the MB or OS.

when i shut down my computer the monitors go off as soon it shows windows shutting down.. but the CPu keeps running for a while to shut down.. not as normal, longer...

any of you guys have faced this issue...

running a Genuine Windows 8 Enterprise OS with 8 GB RM, i5 4670k, asus GTX 750ti, PSU GXII 550w,

all my drivers shows an installed in computer management except under other devices "SM BUS controller" shows a warning sign....

Do you have a SSD or HDD as your hard drive? That would help me to further assist you. Go to your manufacture's website for your motherboard to get that missing driver. They should have it.

by the way i just installed the this Driver : Intel Chipset Driver V10.0.16.0 for Windows Win7 32bit & Win7 64bit & Win8 32bit & Win8 64bit & Win8.1 32bit & Win8.1 64bit---(WHQL). and the warning message is not there anymore...

do i need to install... : Management Engine Interface V10.0.0.1204 for Windows Win7 64bit & Win8 64bit & Win8.1 64bit---(WHQL). ??

but still would like to know about the shutdown

Your HDD might be fragmented. Try to defrag your computer. Don't use the windows 8 defragment program. Use Defragger or any other program of your choice. This is what I would do before doing another clean install.

The monitors already goes Black and on sleep mode.. My fans, CPU and all the system lights are on and it stays like that for a very long time... i have a external HDD plugged in.. and that light is also still on like its still reading files...
