Recently, I sold my EVGA GTX 980 SC for a very good price. I wasn't thinking about upgrading to 980 ti for an extra 10-15 fps but the guy who bought it offered me more than I had bought it for! So now a 980 ti is in my crosshair and I had the chance of using my friend's ti in my PC for about a week.
Wow! I mean the noise and the temp difference is significant. With the same fan curve that I was running on EVGA, MSI card produced way lesser noise and heat. I really dig this card, too. The looks of it, the performance and Afterburner (way more options than Precision X).
I am thinking of switching to MSI for my next GPU. Yet, I have no idea about their customer service where EVGA totally rocks. I had some mishaps in the past with a coil whine issue on one card, and a straight out failure on another - they replaced them immediately. I am superbly satisfied with their customer service. Wondering if MSI can match up to their service? Any experiences, anyone? The CS issue can be my main deciding factor.
