Hello,

I recently acquired a 4930k and have had issues trying to overclock the cpu past 4.2 ghz. I am currently using 1.31 volts on my vcore and haven't touched anything else pertaining to voltage. I have set up an XMP profile on my ram and have EIST and other idling states enabled (had them disabled before didn't make a difference). Ran prime95 for 12 hours at 4.2 ghz and came out stable. This is my current setup:

Could it just be that I got the bad luck of the draw in the silicon lotto?

Thanks!

Oh sorry I forgot to mention that I needed 1.42 v to get it to post at 4.3 ghz for w/e reason. And then running prime95 caused it to crash in 15 mins. I'm not sure if I want to push the vcore any higher than that, unless its been proven safe for this specific cpu.
