My computer is randomly receiving blue screens of death and graphics card interruptions. This typically happens when I am playing games (league of legends, hearthstone, etc...). I currently run 2 monitors on Windows 10 Pro, with Intel i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system, with an NVIDEA GeForce GTX 670 graphics card.

The crashes typically will happen when games are loading / starting up, and I notice them more frequently whenever I'm running multiple background programs (Chrome, Spotify, Skype, etc...). The BSODs call out: Interrupt exception not handled, System Thread Exception Not Found, or others that I cannot remember.

During games I will sometimes encounter freezes where nothing on my computer seems to be functioning, after several seconds it will resume and I will get a notifications that "graphics card interruption was encountered, but has recovered".

Is there any way to fix these issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to reinstall the drivers. Use DDU to clean out all the registry and junk. But my hunch is your gpu vram is dying, because it can't load the images into the vram for it to be rendered. So when the gpu encounters a missing or corrupted data in the vram, it hangs/terminate the program. So I don't doubt this is probably the case for you, since you are dying even trying to run chrome.

From my past experience, if you can't even run a browser and you know its not your cpu or ram, that just means gpu.

As with any computer problem, there are usually dozens of possible causes that need to be ruled out before you get to the bottom of your issue. I'm no computer expert, but I was having the exact same bsod whenever I played graphic intensive games or watched movies. After months of dealing with this issue, I found a solution. My computer started making funny noises so I opened her up & my cpu fan was going out. Once I replaced it, I haven't had the issue since.
