Hello
Firstly thanks for any replies i may get..

What i am trying to do is connect two wireless routers to one modem,

i need the first router to be a standard connection for day to day internet, and the second to be able to have a vpn to the uk to allow my misses to watch her soaps and that from aus.

also if this is possible can anyone reccomend a router that will make the vpn connection then i can just rename one network as "Home AU" and the other as "Home UK"

cheers

You likely can't connect 2 routers to a modem....unless the ISP allows you pay for 2 IP or something. It is not that it technically can't be done the ISP just do not allow it.

The best way to do this is with a more advanced VPN router. I can't tell you which because I have used dd-wrt or commercial routers for so long for vpn I don't keep up with the features.

What is key is that you can set some traffic to go via VPN and other traffic to go normal. It still a pain but you would say set netflix ip to use the VPN and all other traffic to just go directly.

Now if you are willing to manually swap back and forth you can run router behind router with the VPN behind on the secondary router. You would manually have to connect to one...
