I Have an I5 4670k with GTX 980 for Gaming on asus gene motherboard. I would like to upgrade my Video card to Dual or Triple Pascal GPU's when they come out. I also have to upgrade my PSU for a dual or triple GPU's, and also upgrade my motherboard for a Triple GPU setup.

Every game is limited by either the cpu or the graphics capability.
It differs by game.

Actually, your question is moot.
Today, there is no significantly stronger gaming cpu available
What is your question?
Usually a strong single card is a better gamer.
I would expect the top pascal card to be significantly stronger than today's GTX980ti.
It should be plenty for 4k gaming.

You will get diminishing returns from the third sli card.
Moreover, dual gpu's are more prone to stuttering and screen tearing.

Pascal and the AMD offerings look to be a year out.

You're making a statement, and not really asking a question. And really, anything on the new Pascal architecture is purely speculative since the cards haven't even been really announced, let alone released. There's nothing saying that any of these cards will even SUPPORT SLI. I'm pretty sure they will, but once again, until they're released it's all completely unknown.

So - was there a question? Even one we might be able to speculate on for fun?
