just wondering whether A10 7850k and ati hd 7750 gddr5 combo will be good enough for present and upcoming gaming titles.
what is GCN architecture and how will this combination benefit from GCN update in future?

The GPU part of the 7850K is near enough on par with 7750.

The 7750 does have the advantage of using GDDR5 memory, while the A10 has to share the DDR3 main memory and performs best with memory speeds of DDR3-1866 or DDR3-2133.

So the A10-7850K is ok for light gaming, if you need more, go with a cpu+gpu combination.

Alright but the thing is i already own the hd7750 gddr5 and i am into upgrading the motherboard and processor only.
i have two choices either apu+gpu or fx6300+gpu.
say if i go with fx and a 970 series mobo.will there be a need to upgrade the processor in future when i upgrade the gpu in say 3 to 4 years and which is the most powerful gpu that can be handed by this fx when overclocked?
I don't care if fx series is about to come to an end as long as i can play the latest titles for about 5 years.if i need to upgrade the gpu after about 2years that's fine.
Ps- i have 6gb ddr3 1333.
