I am facing the following problem for sometime now but now it is getting worse. I have THREE Sapphire Radeon PCIe card (7870xt, 7950 and 7950flex all with double power connectors). None of them provides video in their HDMI output IF THEY ARE CONNECTED TO my Gigabyte Z77M-D3H/Thermaltake toughpower 750W eps v2.2/i5 3570k

The facts and actions taken up to now: Graphics mode in MB bios is set to auto. GEN3 to auto
1.The cards are ok. They boot and display signal on various other PCs (mostly atx mbs Asus@Gigabyte with >800w psu)
2. The pcie connector of the motherboard is ok. A Sapphire 7850 (single power connector) works ok...
3. Z77m-d3h has a Gen3/auto menu in bios but no option works...
4. The cards are recognised by the motherboard, they boot, the internal GPU is disabled but there is no video output in ther HDMI. I haven't tested DVI/DP
5.The hdmi cable is ok as I have video via this cable from the internal GPU....
6. I replaced the PSU with a similar Toughpower of 750W but still no go..
7. I have tried clearing CMOS but guess no signal

Solution
I had similar problem with my 7870 XT on gigabyte z77 atx mb.
I fixed it by removing all of the parts from the motherboard, started it fresh without gpu, and after that plugged in the 7870 xt. hope this can help you.
