I have a very old android phone, nearly one of the few first that came out and it's very dated and super slow. SO much so I don't really use it and I really need a new one but with all of them on the market today I have no clue which ones are good or not. I see so many manufactures that I've never heard of! So many new types of processors and such I just can't read fast enough to gather it all in now. Basically a small mobile gaming phone to use while away from my computer and of course being able to take decent pictures. Can anyone direct me into which are the better and worse of these new cell phones with android?

Thanks!

The Moto G phones are said to the best low end Android phones. Similarly the Lumia 500 or 600 series phones are also good for low price but reliable performance, but those are Windows phones if that matters.

So it would appear that the Motorola G phone despite what that article says is not that great of a deal with the phone in my link being a Mlais MX and the benchmark numbers showing it to be nearly twice as fast and about $50 usd cheaper! So what's the deal with that? Is it just priced so high because they assume Americans wont buy direct overseas through the web or is this Mlais MX phone really not better than what it seems to say?

Thanks!

Never in my life have I heard of the company Mlais. There are always products that seem to be cheaper with the same or better specs but with zero reputation behind them. Personally I'd pay the 50 bucks so you can get it from somewhere that has a reputation and you know you can return it / warranty it to if it gives you trouble.
