So i have recently got into recording videos of games and such, haven't really gotten to uploading them due to Australian internet being below 1 megabit upload. Anyway that's not my problem surprisingly :p. When i am reviewing the videos that i have done i realize that my mechanical keyboard is very loud in the recordings. So i am looking at getting a USB desktop microphone specifically the Blue Snowball ( http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24753&cPath=250)

I was just wondering if this would actually stop my keyboard from being recorded in the videos. Any feedback will be appreciated :) thank you.

Solution
A USB microphone will help with electrical noise if your analog microphone input or cable is picking up an unacceptable amount of it. What you need to deal with keyboard noise is a directional microphone that you can setup in a way that cancels out most of noise outside of its main sensitivity lobe. You may also need a microphone mount with vibration isolation features to reduce the amount of mechanically coupled noise through your table and the stand if you plan to have the microphone resting on the same desk as your keyboard.
