realtek audio echo

my laptop has a realtek hd audio card i think and there is an echo in the audio (its worst when playing fallout 3 or watching youtube) my drivers are up to date as of 10/17/2015 and i dont have the realtek audio manager so i cant alter the settings in that someone please help

Right click on the sound icon on the bottom right hand side of your taskbar. Select "Recording devices". Select your default microphone (with green icon next to it). Select "Properties" then go to "Level" tab and reduce the level to below 20. Your done!

Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers>Realtek High Definition Audio>Right Click>Uninstall

Then RESTART your computer. The driver with either install on its own, use Driver Booster 3, or go to the website and reinstall it.
