I am putting together this computer:
MSI z97 Gaming 5
4790k
2x8GB Corsair Viper (XMP)
MSI GTX 970 100me
Sentey 725w
OCZ Arc 100 (WIn 7 boot)
WD Green

It used to BSOD the immedietaly the Win7 splash showed so I updated the BIOS and now the windos logo splash animation plays for a couple seconds before BSOD. If I try to boot into safe mode I make it until CLASSPNP.sys before the BSOD.

BSOD is too fast to read.

What am I too do?

It seems that you OS installation (Windows 7) has been corrupted.

Try the following resolution:

1. Boot the computer to windows recovery mode.

2. Click Commmad Prompt, type in:

rename c:\windows\system32\drivers\classpnp.sys classpnp.old

If this does not work, I would do a fresh install of Windows. If it still persists after a fresh install, then check your HDD by booting into recovery and at a command prompt type:

C:\> chkdsk /F /R /X C:

This will check your Hard Drive for errors, which would be next logical issue.

Also just for kicks you could try swapping the ram in and out, try to boot off one stick in each slot, with both DIMMS -see if this has any effect.

I disabled the restart on fail, get this code exactly: https://goo.gl/Rr39bH ()The BIOS recognizes both drives)
Tried different RAM since that was easy to swap, no change. might pull the SSD and run a check on it with another PC, I can't get into safe mode.

I have no DVD drive to work with either at the moment, the NZXT H440 doesn't even have one 5.25" bay.

You can make recovery media to boot into using a USB stick.

http://www.digitalcitizen.life/create-usb-memory-stick-system-recovery-tools

Also, I HIGHLY recommend everyone have this tool-set installed on a bootable USB stick:

Hiren's Boot CD:

http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

Have you tried booting without the WD storage drive in? Just the SSD boot drive, maybe change the SATA port for the heck of it..

P.S.

In fact, what I would do is disconnect everything except your CPU MAIN_Fan and the SSD -this can help rule out any other devices/bus/parts of the board that (could) be causing HDD/boot issues or shorts..,,I am thinking broadly here..but want to try and narrow it down best as we can.

I can't do the chkdsk for the c drive, only the USB "X:" drive.

Gonna try Hirens boot cd

Strange, well Hiren's has "Mini Windows XP" I would boot into that -it give you a nice XP desktop where you can carry out tasks, all drives should be visible by default -if not click the "Install all Hardware" link on the desktop, this should fix any issues.

Instead of chkdsk you could use one of the several HDD/SSD testing tools from the main Hiren's boot screen, or just do it inside the mini XP PE.

Once/If you verify your SSD is okay physically - and you have reinstalled Windows, I would boot up a prompt and run System File Checker to verify the integrity of your OS files.

C:/> sfc /SCANNOW

run sfc /? if you need help with parameters
