Intel CPUs are a lot more powerful than AMD CPUs. You will probably have to overclock a FX-8350 to about 5.0GHz in order to get close to the performance of the i5-4460 in games; assuming the same GPU is used. I think most FX-8350 overclocks to 4.4GHz - 4.5GHz.

You can reuse the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus since it is compatible with a socket 1150 Intel CPU.

Also, Fallout 4 should run a lot better with an Intel CPU vs an AMD CPU. Fallout 4 uses an updated Creation Engine that was designed for Skyrim. The following performance chart shows a significant difference in performance between the i5-2500k and FX-8350 running at stock speed. So I assume this does not OC because it has no K? and will my Hyper 212 mount to that I5 and is it adequate to cool it?
