The power supply calculator determined my build requires 383 W of supply.
But I've heard we should get a bit more watts than the recommended wattage.

This is my build:

Intel i5 6600
Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3
Kingston 8 GB DDR4-2133 Memory
Nvidia GTX 960 4 GB
Western Digital 1TB HDD
LG DVD-RW/DVD+RW

So how much more shud i get? 400/450/500/550?

I do not want to overspend so please let me know.
Also I've heard corsair is lacking quality due to reuse of parts. Is it true? Should I avoid it?
Which one is better?

Yes,a good 450watt would do fine with these parts.

Do not go the cheap route when buying a psu.Your getting a nice rig, make sure it has a nice good quality psu as well.
