Hello! I'm trying to select the components for my first gaming pc build and I'd like to ask for your help.

I have a 1200 euro budget (around 1350 usd) although I also plan to buy a 120-144hz monitor.

These are what I've selected so far: http://
My main goal is to get my games such as bf4, csgo, and some other upcoming title, to run at 1080p (doesn't need to be on ultra) while taking full advantage of a high refresh rate monitor.

Am I being a little too optimistic, or is it a viable goal within this budget?

Edit: oc'ing is an option

Cheers!

Are you kidding? That build will play at 1440p on ultra! Excellent build my friend, excellent!

Only one issue. Your PSU isnt powerful enough (600W recommended for overclocking), and the Corsair CX series is junk. If you want a good PSU, you need to spend a bit. An EVGA B2, G2 Non NEX Supernova, high end Antec, XFX, SeaSonic, Delta electronics, or Thermaltake Toughpower is much better choice. Theyre costly (45-55 for a 650W B2), but are DEFINITELY worth it.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Your feedback was definitely more positive than what I was expecting! I guess I was under the misconception that a single gpu build on a 1200 budget wouldn't cut it...

Although I assume you would only expect that kind of performance with a cpu overclock?

In any case I'll take a look at the psu's you recommended, much appreciated!

edit: http:// would this be a good pick?

Not at all. I run a locked Xeon 1231v3, (essentially a locked 4790k without the igpu), and itd run 1440p with a GTX 980. It does 3.9 GHz in turbo. The 4690k is essentially the same idea without hyperthreading
