It has been asked quite a few times before, but here it goes again. Should i pick the 8350/8320 instead of the 4690k and save ~100e ($113) or should i just go with the Intel one?
The motherboard (if going with AMD): MSI 970 GAMING AM3+
The motherboard (if going with Intel): Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 Z97
There's a possibility that i'll be overclocking in the future, but as of now, i wouldn't be overclocking the cpus straight out of the box.

The main purpose of the computer would be gaming (Games like CS:GO, Cities Skylines etc.)
The cooler for either one of the builds: ANTEC H2O 650 and my GPU's: GTX 960

Please note. Skylake is out of the question as i already have DDR3.

Thanks!

So basically what you're saying that on a budget, i would be better off using the +100e for the i5 than saving the money and going for the AMD?

Admirable
The i5 is the stronger processor when talking 1-4 threads, but the AMD is entirely adequate for the types of games you're listing. At 1080p on a 60hz monitor, if going the AMD route allows you get a better GPU or something else, then I would consider it. If you do editing/rendering, or are heavily multitasking, then the AMD has some advantages there.

The downside is that at the 8320/50 level, there is really nowhere to go on the AM3+ platform. On 1150 the 4790K/5775C/Xeon upgrade choices are there. If this was a short term CPU/Mobo combo to get you next year when you may jump on Skylake (or evaluate Zen), and getting a 970 now (a much more VR capable GPU) is then possible......I would weigh those choices carefully.
