does ms boston 7525 support core 2 quad q6700 or q6600 or any quad core?

Solution
The MSI MS-7525 (Boston) is a motherboard built by MSI, but with specifications provided by HP. The VRM just isn't powerful enough to support a Quad Core CPU. The links that you provided are useless; they presume that any socket 775 CPU is supported. A quick Google search seems to indicate that an E8400 should work with BIOS v5.22: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/275652-30-7525-boston-compatibility-issue If you don't have it, v5.22 can be found at http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/Compaq-Presario-SR5000-Desktop-PC-series/3686675/model/3719119#Z7_3054ICK0KGTE30AQO5O3KA30R1 I'm not saying an E8400 will work since I have no way to test it. Besides there may be more than one revision of that motherboard.

Wait and upgrade my PC. I will look to upgrade to gigaybyte h81 -s and core i3 4150. Will i3 4150 be good to run modern games considering if the other components are good enough.

I also wanted to ask do i need a better PSU or the older PSU will work fine since i wanted to upgrade 2x2GB DDR2 RAM to 4x2GB DDR3 RAM. Also i3 4150 uses 54 W and Dual Core E5200 uses 65 W .I think my older PSU will be fine since RAM would not use much power and the newer CPU uses less power than the older one. Will the new mobo use power so that i have to upgrade my PSU? Also how much FPS boost I will get with i3 4150 and 8GB RAM in games? And will these motherboards gigabyte h81m-s1 or h81m -s will be compatible with PC p6120in.

It's possible to fit the Gigabyte h81m-s1 or h81m-s motherboards in an HP p6120in case (you may have to rewire the front panel). Do you have a discrete GPU or are you using the Intel GMA 3100 integrated graphics? Do you still have the OEM 250W PSU? If you don't have a discrete GPU and you don't plan on buying one, then you should consider an AMD A10-7870K and a motherboard like the ASRock FM2A58M-HD+. Your answers will dictate if a new PSU is required, but it would probably be better if you did.
