I'm looking at building an i7 5820k system, and using two r9 280x gpus in crossfire. As its a 140 watt CPU and I also have 6 hard drives to install in the system I would like to know what sort of wattage would be required for the system.
I know that power supply quality varies hugely by manufacturer (and sometimes within the same manufacturer as they are "ghost-manufactured") so would appreciate a specific model recommendation if possible (I'm in the UK). But any help at all would be appreciated!
