PC won't boot with new graphics card, beeps three times on startup. PLEASE HELP!

I have just got a new evga gtx 750 ti FTW and put it in my pc. On startup it stops on "press escape to enter system settings" page (which i cant do) whilst it beeps 3 times, roughly 20 seconds between beeps. I tried it with my old gpu and it boots perfectly well.

I have looked around and the solution seems to be that I must update my bios, but i have a foxconn 2 abf h61 motherboard which doesnt seem to have any update available.

Please help me as I really want to use my new gpu, thanks

PC specs:
Pentium g620 @ 2.6ghz
EVGA 500w psu
6gb ram
foxconn 2abf h61 motherboard
1tb hard drive

Hi

does the graphics card have a pci-e 6pin 12 V socket?
if so is the 6 pin pci-e plug from PSU connected?

Is the motherboard a Foxconn in an another brand PC like HP etc ?
(if so go to PC manufacturers web site not foxconn)

is 'Foxconn 2 abf h61' the exact name shown on motherboard ?

what is current BIOS version?

6 pin was definitely plugged in

it is was an hp pavillion p6-2010uk (but i added some parts)

that is the motherboard name according to cpu-z

HP only has one driver update about win 10, not bios.

would I be best getting a new motherboard?
