So here's my problem, I just built this PC and it was working fine. I was in the UEFI for the Asus mobo that I have, and was just about to boot into windows. After I entered the product key, it said to remove the flash drive. After doing so, I booted back into the UEFI for the asus mobo? Why? I have no idea, i pressed the memOK button and that was it. Nothing after that, it won't even start. All I see is the red start button and reset button at the bottom left of the mobo. I have tried everything I have looked through on the internet, removing and re plugging in wires, resetting the mobo manually, removed after market AiO watercooler and then reinstalled, there was the pre applied thermal paste all over the CPU but it didn't looke to be a problem?

Anyway here are the specs:

i7-6700k
asus hero 8 mobo
16gb g.skill tridentZ
corsair 110i GTX cpu cooler
980 kingpin
corsiar 760
256gb samsung ssd
500gb samsung ssd

If anyone has anything to help me please, I would greatly appreciate it. I am almost in tears.

I have taken the battery out and placed it back in. I'll wait overnight and see what happens.

If it did go bad would the start/reset buttons still light up? And would the clr_cmos button still flash all the leds on the mobo? And also would there be any leds at all? Mine is showing all of that and just isn't turning on..

Yeah that is possible, but It doesn't appear to have any physical damage done to it. And the entire time I was grounding myself and using an anti static wrist strap. And just moments before this started happening, it was working fine and I was in the BIOS of the mobo.
