Installing Win7 to Asus X553M Free DOS ( error )

Hello,

How to install Win 7 on ASUS X553M notebook ( free DOS ) ?

I got USB boot WIN7
And when i try to boot and install i got this error:

File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.efi
Status : 0xc000000f
Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

Can anyone help me out here?

usually it is under the boot option in the BIOS. to access the BIOS, turn on the laptop and hit F2.


if you cannot find it, another option would be to check the boot menu (F12) and see if you have a non-UEFI option listed for the USB stick to boot from.

should the F12 key not work, you might have to enable it in the BIOS. It should be located under the MAIN menu.

F2 - enter BIOS, go to boot menu, select usb as boot option #1, then select hard drive boot order and put usb in option #1. Yes it has to be option #1 in both places.
