What would you go for as your new gaming PC? Like i said i was sure to go for i7 6700k + R9 390, but GTX980 is quite tempting i gotta say. Playing at Full HD, unfortunately GTX 980ti is out of the question (price way too high) and same goes for GTX 970.(R9 390 seems like a better pick to me)

Would be i5 + GTX 980 better combination than i7 + R9 390? Or the bottom line is, its all +/- same?

Thnx for the help guys ^^

unfortunately iam not able to build it myself, so will order all the parts at one shop, which will build it together for me.

iam from Czech Republic, so Czech Crown is the currency, 1 USD = 23,85 CZK

prices are actual, and its quite normal for the hardware what we got here (ofc some shops can be little cheaper, but thats really few bucks less)

Ok, what I can provide is that a better SSD is in place. Kingston SSD's in general are cheap but come with noteworthy cons over a good Crucial or Samsung SSD.

For a gaming PC, an i5 processor is always enough I think. Doesn't matter if we're looking deep into the future, with what we have today on the market for components and games you don't need more than an i5 for gaming.

Best value for price GPU are either the GTX 970 or the R9 390. The R9 390X and GTX 980 are the next step-up.

I5-6600k + GTX 980 will need no more than a 550 watts power supply. If you would like to add another GTX 980 in the future, then ofcourse a G2 750w would be more in place.

So out of the components listed, avoid the following ones and improve them:
CoolerMaster Force 500 (Poor build quality, poor cable management, poor dust filtering etc.)
Kingston HyperX FURY - 120GB (Slow, failure rate is rather high)
Scythe SCNJ-4000 Ninja 4 (Not well enough reviewed to be a reliable choice)
