So,to begin with my desktop is really old(from 2003) and i don't know a lot of things about formatting.I have looked for situtations similar to mine but haven't found it.I opened the case to remove the dust,took each component out and after blowing it i gently brushed it with a toothbrush.I put them inside the case and connected them(presumably correct).I turn on the system and it gets to point where it says

>Latest known configuration
>Start Windows normally'' (screen 1)
or something like that,i dont remember.I have chosen every single option but the problem remains:Black screen and returns me to the
previous screen(1).I don't have a windows disk and it's OS is Windows XP.
