Hi There,
Recently my PC started hanging after the Windows colours start swirling around and it said "Starting Windows"; i.e after that screen and just before the login screen, the screen goes black and the cursor flickers a bit then goes into the "busy" circle, and then after about 10 seconds it goes to the login screen.
I initially thought the problem was from SolidWorks 2015/16 that I installed just before, and narrowed it down to the FlexNet Licensing Service from the SolidWorks package (as it remained on my system after I uninstalled SW and the issue still remained). I did a system restore to get rid of the FlexNet service, and it worked for a while but after booting up my PC today, it seems the issue is back again -.-
So I think it may be down to a recent Adobe Reader XI update, but I'm not sure. I've already completed a bootlog through msconfig.exe, but I can't seem to find the upload link :L
Let me know if you know how to do it.
There's a lot of "Did Not Load..." in that log though, which is worrying but I'll leave that to the experts.
Cheers for helping,
Mark
