Hey again,
I wanted to ask if it is possible to use an old MSI RX600XT gpu I own, with the hd5450 I have hooked up right now. I did put it in my rig, although it does boot up, it just doesn't output anything, and msi afterburner wont show me that it is actually there. I can confirm that the card is working fine, I just want to try it for the heck of it (or perhaps, I could use the extra outputs for more monitors )
Thanks in advance

No, I'm not trying to set up sli/cfx. All I want is to get them working just so I can use the extra display outputs, and the extra horse power for rendering, maybe.

apologies i made a mistake in my earlier post. It is possible for you to run two video cards in one system. Just that you can't SLI/crossfire them.
You need the driver to run the video card, check the MSI website and even if the latest driver is really old just download that one.

When I boot up only with my rx600xt, it works, The display has a really bad resolution, you cant play games etc because I cant get the drivers. In other words, both cards are fine, but I cant use the rx without having the driver installed as it seems.
