Hello!
I have a computer with Windows 8.1 and the problem is following:
I use usb internet with 5 GB limitation per month and something is sucking up all of my gigabytes. For example, I am online for a half an hour now and have visited only Facebook and Gmail (I haven't watch any videos), but this ''costed'' me already 100 MB.
Yesterday I reinstalled my OS because I thought that some kind of malware was the cause of the problem, but the problem still exists. I read some of the existing forum threads and find out that Windows itself may be the cause of this problem. I already disabled automatic updates and turned off BITS and live tiles, but the problem still exists! Also, the problem occurs only when my browser is on, but even if I don't do anything with it.

Thank you for help!

Stop using that browser then? Try using firefox, chrome, edge (requires windows 10), etc.

5GB is absolutely unacceptable for any computer nowadays, you should really look into alternative options, most cable and DSL systems are unlimited and cost as little as $30 depending on where you live.
