PC works fine but cant access BIOS

I updated BIOS via Qflash with a usb flash drive then computer automatically rebooted. Since then it appears a Black Screen with a pointer whenever i press F2 or Delete to access BIOS, and my monitor says "cable incorrect please use the dvi dual-link" (although i have the dvi dual link cable installed and it worked perfectly before update BIOS). If not pressing F2 or Delete it goes straight to windows 8.1 normally and the monitor functions correctly.

My computer still works fine though. Please help without BIOS i cant reinstall windows and stuffs.

My motherboard is Gygabyte Z97X SLI.

i tried but it said "unsupported 16 bit application" "this feature cant run due to incompatibity with 64 bits version of windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64 bit windows compatible version is available"

i read the instructions but they are all required to access BIOS to update. I cant access BIOS, theres only a black screen when pressing F2 or Delete while booting.

of course it is, im using my monitor perfectly normal on windows but when trying to access BIOS it says "cable incorrect please use the dvi dual-link"

You mean that pressing [F8] or [F12] (I don't know which one for the boot menu) works? This BIOS menu has nothing to do with Windows.

yes, F12 for boot menu then black screen appears with the error message "cable incorrect please use the dvi dual-link"

Well obviously if you can get signal through the cable/monitor that's not the problem but if you cannot access BIOS/Boot menu, i honestly dont know how you can flash the bios.

Again, where is the monitor connected? Directly to the motherboard? If not have you tried connecting it to the motherboard?

the monitor is connected to my VGA Card which is plugged in the Motherboard. The error message with black screen appears only when i try to access BIOS or boot menu, otherwise PC boots up and gets to windows without any problem.
