My friend bought a new Intel 4590 and the motherboard is H87 Asus. I used my intel 4670 to upgrade the bios of the Asus motherboard. Everything works great in my friend's PC. Now i took back my Intel 4670 and my Gigabyte H87 and the computer doesnt boot. It tries to boot but after one second restarts and tries Again. One thing. I put my processor on the intel box while i was working and it fell on my desk. I cant believe that falling from a height of 5 centimeters damaged the processor. I just want to know if it is damaged or it has to be a problem to put it back to an h87 motherboard after upgrading another bios H97 compatible.
