So I recently purchased an Nvidia geforce gtx 980 ti. I've installed it but unfortunately the bloody thing won't detect. I can't get nvidia geforce experience installed into it, nor can I install the manual update as I get this constant

"NVCPLSetupInt: error
Error during execution ".\\setup.exe".
The operation completed successfully"

I spoke with a tech from the nvidia website, but they weren't much help. They theorize the card is the issue, or I ned to update my bios, since when I look at my device manager and under display adapters it says "Standard VGA Graphics adapter" with no indication of the Nvidia card.

Nor is it detected on sysinfo.

I know I installed this thing right, since a display does come up on the computer, and it's greenish light glows as well.

My specs:

Windows 7
16 gig of ram
1 tb HD
Motherboard MSI 970A-G43
Power supply unit GS 700

help woul dbe appreciated.

Try downloading geforce experience and download driver from there. Maybe sounds stupid, but everytime I've uninstalled my 980 I can never install a driver without going through geforce experience??

you have the card installed into the top blue pcie slot?

all pcie power plugs installed on the card?

you uninstalled the previous drivers of whatever card you had before you took it out?

Thanks for your input
unfortunately when attempting to even install geforce I get this:

"NVCPLSetupInt: error
Error during execution ".\\setup.exe".
The operation completed successfully"

In top blue pcie slot check.

PCIE plugs installed into the card (it lights up and the fan rotates)

I uninstalled previous drivers yes. Though everytime I restart the computer it installs the standard VGA graphics card..

Anytime I try to update it with the downloaded update, I get an error. From what one what of the nvidia techs told me, is that it's not detected for some reason.

have you moved the temporary windows folders to another drive besides "c:\"?
