Hey everybody,

I've been having random crashes lately, most recently today, and am having trouble narrowing down the cause. Sometimes it's during a game or even if the computer is just idling; the screen will go blank then display vertical green lines and the only way out of it is to reset the computer.
I'll post pictures next time it happens.

I haven't had any hardware changes since April and the only software change has been an upgrade from Win7 Home Premium to Win10 Home (64-bit) All drivers are up-to-date and Event Viewer doesn't notice anything wrong, aside from reporting an unexpected reboot.
I've run mem-test to no end and I'm currently running P95 accompanied by HWMonitor, but all temps are below 55C after an hour of testing so far.
SPECS:
GB 990FXA UD3 REV 3.0 (never had any troubles with the VRM or throttling issues)
AMD FX8320 (no overclocking)
Kingston 16GB dual channel (KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G)
Sandisk Ultra II 240GB
WD 1TB Caviar Blue
MSI R9 270X 2GB
Cooler Master Extreme 2 725W PSU

I plan on swapping out the Cooler Master for an Antec I have lying around to test the PSU, since I know the CM is a cheap power supply , but any help in the meantime would be appreciated.

Thanks

I believe it's something to do with the HDMI port shorting out or Windows 10 textures

So far so good. I haven't had any flickers or freezing since switching to DVI, so hopefully that solved it. If anything happens I'll post it here, but otherwise I think it's safe to say that solved the problem for now.
