I'm baaaaack.

Well I solved one problem for a few days, tinkered with a few other smaller issues that I'm running through Phanteks support involving my second stick ram not letting the computer start (assuming that requires a voltage increase) the power button not working, and top LED's not illuminating. Those are all a side gag now.

On Saturday I got a taste of my systems performance. I would share with you a HEAVEN benchmark but that file is saved on my other system. If I recall, the ultra preset with around a 55 FPS mark, with one of my two games "Armored Warfare" running all ultra settings around 70 FPS depending on where I'm at on any given map. Basically I'm pretty darn thrilled at it all. I shut it off for the night and went to start it up this morning.

Initially I got to the BIOS screen for the first couple of times. I tinkered around with a few settings, I even reset my BIOS to the factory settings. My motherboard didn't respond to hitting the delete or F11 keys, it just went straight to the BIOS screen.

After eight or nine tries now when the tower boots up nothing comes up on the screen, and it shuts down after about three seconds. I've done various troubleshooting steps but just can't seem to solve this. All of these attempts have yielded the same result.

A quick note that just before I went through these troubleshooting steps and landed right on the BIOS screen, I was receiving a debug error indicating "66" which was a late CPU initialization. What I've tried so far is as follows:

- The blue CMOS button has been pressed until it's turned off.
- The MB's battery has been removed.
- Same battery has been flipped around and tested.
- The CPU and it's socket have both been checked and both check out fine.
- No wires have ran across the back of the MB.

- The pins in the power cords and on the MB have been checked, all are straight.
- All power cables are plugged in securely to both the MB and PSU.
- All power cables in the PSU are plugged in securely
- RAM has been reseated and tested in all slots, second RAM stick also yields no results.
- CPU cooler has been removed and both cooler and CPU have been cleaned and given a new coat of thermal paste

- All fans and CPU cooler fans have been replugged into the board.
- I've pulled the board out and put it back in and made sure everything was reconnected.

I have done all of this:

I just purchased a system speaker but I don't know what help that will be given the two to three seconds the system stays running for. I don't even know where that would be placed on the board. Looking through the manual the only audio related thing on the board mentioned was for the rear audio speakers.

The only thing I haven't done that I can think of doing is flashing my board but again, don't exactly know how useful that will be given the length of time the system stays running.

Unless your absolutely sure of a possible troubleshooting step that I might have overlooked, please don't ask me to try it. I've already turned this thing on that I don't want to have to purchase a new CPU...

Oh the joy of building a new computer... :/

10/22: Fixed the issue myself, isolated the problem to the JFP1 connector. Everything seems alright, no bent pins, no reversed polarities...

Bumping since it's been over 24 hours now. Haven't touched anything since I posted, starting to sound real bad since no ones offered any suggestion given all my troubleshooting I've already done.
