Can't burn Blu-ray UDF discs using Nero on my ASUS latop>Disc is write protected' error

"Disc is write protected" may refer to the disc you are trying to make a copy of.
If it's a commercial movie disc for example, containing copy-protection measures, Nero will not allow you to copy it as it is illegal to do so.

Check how you are trying to burn the disk and what type of disk you are using. Some re-writable disks need to be formatted for use (although I am not totally sure if that applies to any BluRay writable media). Try doing the disk burn using a writable DVD or CD see if that works.
