Hey guys,

I recently cloned my old HDD (i used it as a data drive, so it contained everything that wasn't my operating system) and after cloning the old data drive, to my new blank one, and removing the old HDD from the computer, I cant use shortcuts for any of the programs that were installed on my old drive that are now on the new drive. All of the other data is there (pics, videos, etc) and i am able to view them, but my desktop is full of shortcuts that no longer work.
( whenever i attempt to open Teamspeak for example it says "The drive or network connection that the shortcut "teamspeak 3 client.lnk" refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, then try again")

I'm able to just run the setups again for the programs and then use them but i'm not sure if there's another way to progress.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I attempted to google the problem and tried right clicking the new drive in my computer > properties > Security > advanced > Owner > Edit > clicking replace owners on subcontainers and objects, and letting that run, but it didn't help anything so i'm not sure i should have even done that.

Any help is appreciated!

P.S. It might be worth noting that upon the drives finishing cloning, i resarted the computer with BOTH the new and old drive still hooked up, upon checking to see that the clone worked, i shut down, removed the power and data cables from the old drive and rebooted.

Solution
It sounds like your new HDD's drive letter is not the same as the old drive.

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage Devices -> Disk management

This will let you change the drive letter of your new drive

EDIT: Try changing the drive letter to D first, as that is usually the drive letter your second HDD Windows assigns by default. If that fails, remove your new drive, and plug your old one back in. If your installed application works, check the drive letter. Swap the HDD's back, and change your new HDD's drive letter to the old one, and you should have your links back.
