To all experts, I have a cpu AMD A8-7600 and I am planning to buy a dedicated GPU which is R9-390X 8GB 512bit ddr5 because I am not satisfied using R7 240 in dual graphics mode AND I WANT TO PLAY GAMES LIKE modern games like WITCHER, ASSASSINS CREED UNITY,METAL GEAR SOLID V AND MANY OTHERS IN A HIGH SETTINGS now my question is Can I pair my AMD A8-7600 to gigabyte R9 390x to run those games in high settings in 1080 or may be at lower like 1024?

If yes what are the important things to consider? and the possible problems might encounter?
thanks a lot to all experts here :wahoo:

note: no planning to change my AMD A8-7600, just want to pair it to R9 390x

tHANKS FOR your help I will remember it.
How about the games like assassins creed unity, metal gear solid V, and battlefield 5 can play it in high settings at least 50fps more or less in high settings by A8-7600 having 16gb of ram together with R9 390x 8gb even though my cpu will bottleneck or will limits the power of r9 390x?

At 1080p, you will be well above 60 fps on most titles, only single threaded games, like Dayz, or Arma will suffer, aswell as newer titles that really do need a strong cpu, such as gta 5. The newer/single threaded titles will have very poor min frame rates and in my opinion, annoys the shit out of me.

I suggest not doing a r9 390x for 1080p. I would do one of the following:
Drop to a 390 or a gtx 970 and pick up an 860k to get a better cpu, better balanced system and would give better performance on newer and single threaded games.

Or, drop to a 4gb r9 380, and switch to intel, and buy the cheapest locked haswell i5 + h97. Would be an even better, more balanced system, while still being able to maintain high-ultra settings at 1080p in any game today.
