Faulty strip cut power to my PC: Can that cause damage / issues?

I had my computer plugged into kind of a crappy power strip. While I was attempting to plug a separate device into the strip, the power cut out. I thought maybe the switch got toggled somehow, so I turned my computer back on and resumed what I was doing. After jiggling the strip, power cut out again. Turns out part of the wire was broken or something near the plug.

Anyway, when the computer turned back on, first I got a "Failed to Overclock!" warning from by Asus mobo's startup screen. After loading up Windows, I restarted the computer again and then the SSD drive was automatically checked for errors and "repaired".

Is it possible that I caused some damage to any of my hardware? RAM, CPU, GPU, SSD?
If you can offer some advice, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

i would recommend just keeping an eye on everything it is possible but if your pc turns on and everything loads you should be fine just keep an eye out for signs like screen flickering, high temperatures, and freezing/ blue screens.
open up device manager and check to see if you have any yellow triangles might have a problem if you see any and also i would recommend http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001985SWW?keywords=UPS&qid=1445236617&ref_=sr_1_3&s=pc&sr=1-3
its not cheap but it works grate.
