How difficult is it to switch out the hardware from a Small form factor computer to another case?

I'm looking to swap the hardware from the standard SFF Lenovo H520S case to a more accommodating case, and it's literally highway robbery to ask any big computer chain like Bestbuy or Tigerdirect ($120-$150 to swap all hardware, $40 to literally just plug in a low-profile card) So I was wondering as someone with minute experience working on computers, the most being installing video cards, would the process be too difficult? should I just hand over one arm and leg to a professional to do the process?

Thanks in advance.

It is really more simple than you think, Although it can be overwhelming to look at, but most connectors and plugs can only fit into it's designated place.
The motherboard has +-8-12 screws depending on the board, everything else clips out.

I suggest not touching the cpu/heatsink, just leave it where it is, unplug all other connectors and cables. If you want to be 100% safe, take your smartphone and take some pictures now so you can copy it once you move it over.

All the plugs or at least 90% has a clip holding them in place, so do not just pull on them, you need to press down the clip before pulling them out.
hard drives and dvd playes either has screws or just slips in and out. depending on the setup.
