computer turns off and on repeatedly without any display

Solution

So your computer keeps turning on and off on its own without making any beeps (your computer normally makes a single beep when starting up, right?). If you've checked all external cables and made sure they're plugged in...

i've tried to reset my motherboard using the way of removing the CMOS battery and holding the power button for about 15-30secs. nothing changed. i can't even access the BIOS because there's no display in my monitor when i try to power up my computer and without any beeps.

So your computer keeps turning on and off on its own without making any beeps (your computer normally makes a single beep when starting up, right?). If you've checked all external cables and made sure they're plugged in correctly, check the internal power cables and the cables connecting your front reset and power buttons to the motherboard. Also make sure none of the expansion cards have somehow slipped out of their slots. If everything is plugged in correctly and there are no signs of electrical damage, one of your components may be dead, and unless you have compatible backups lying around you probably won't be able to figure out which one on your own. If there's a reputable retailer with a service department near you I'd suggest taking it to them so they can figure it out. Again, you haven't changed ANY of the components or hardware settings (such as overclocking your CPU or RAM) before this happened, right?

hey yeah. i checked all of my components again one by one. and you're right. one of my components is dead. or should i say, grounded when its attached/plugged in my motherboard. it's the side panel fan or what do you call that an extension fan. during my isolation, it starts to overheat and when I tried to remove it and turn on my pc w/o the extension fan, it boots up normally.
