I'm downloading all of the drivers from the Asus website for the coming PC build later today. I'm coming from a "Asus P5Q-E" (LGA775) board from 2008 and upgrading to a Asus Z97-AR + i5 4690K so there are alot of new drivers i've never heard of. For example, under the Chipset-menu on the Asus-driver-page there are two files.
The usual chipset file / 3.21 MBytes / updated 2015-07-23:
Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V10.1.1.7 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit / 10 64bit.(WHQL)
...and one i've never heard of / 77.69 MBytes / updated 2014-05-08
Intel(R) Management Engine Interface V10.0.0.1204 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
I know i should install the Intel Chipset Software but should i also install the large file called Intel(R) Management Engine Interface?
Thanks in advance
