Is it possible when using a long video cable for a TV to ruin a card's video interface?
Can the card get to a point it is struggling sending a signal and fail even though it has been working fine for a few days?
Two DVI ports on my card stopped working at some time when connected via a DVI-HDMI adapter and a 15m HDMI cable.
The graphics card is GIGABYTE GTX 970 G1 GAMING.

This question is related to the one I asked before here:

Thanks

As said no damage but the TV may not be able to receive the signal. The weaker the signal the less likely the TV will be able to 'hear' it. I have a 10m HDMI cable, I have found one TV which wont display a picture when using that cable and my laptop, all other TV's work ok and the TV with the problem is ok on shorter cables. Its like the one TV is a little hard of hearing and doesn't like the quieter signal.
