Hey , i would love to get some support to help me decide what i should buy (first).
I was thinking of taking a Radeon R9 390 or is it better to get an i7 first ?

Agreed. That is still a good CPU. But do not go too crazy with the video card upgrade. The real GPU upgrade that you are going to want to do is to the GPU's that will start coming out in about 8 months or so. It may well take all of the various price points a year to get the new GPU's available, but both AMD and Nvidia will be coming out with much faster, less power hungry cards with more video memory at about the prices we would pay today. So if you feel the need to upgrade now, do it, but try to save up for a major upgrade next year.

Truth be told you won't see too much of an improvement, even by going with Skylake for the i7, and virtually none by using the Haswell/Devils Canyon parts, AND you'll need to change the motherboard as well as the memory if you go via the Skylake/DDR4 route.
Plenty will probably run down the R9 390, but it's a good part, not sure about 8Gb of onboard memory though.
Obvious alternative is the GTX970, it and the R9 390 trade blows at 1080 res while the R9 is a tiny bit faster at 1440 res.
