two tv monitors vga and hdmi

so here is my problem im going to buy a 32 inch tv and i have a 42 inch tv in the living room i want to connect them both with my pc but i want to have seperate screens the 42 is for my father watching movies and the 32 is for me playing is it possible ?

also im going to connect my 32 tv with hdmi and i have a vga cable 15m to connect the 42 tv.

Is it going to work like that ?

yes sure you can do it connect the cables and press windows key + p and select extend option

and with buying a better quality vga and hdmi will it have the same effects ? or you mean that im going to hear the game and movie sounds together ?

Use HDMI/DP to each screen.

As noted, if you pass the audio to the 42-inch that creates a bit of a conundrum, though some front panel audio setups allow a separate audio stream for your gaming if you use headphones.

Will you and your Dad be using each screen simultaneously? I ask because streaming HD video uses quite a bit of CPU power, and will affect your gaming. It should be ok for other minor tasks.

Yes the computer would be creating both the game audio and the movie audio. You (or he) may hear both.
