So I bought a new battery for my 5 yrs old laptop ( the old battery stopped working around 1.5yrs ago but was plugged in as was giving a 15 or so battery backup)
and I installed the new battery right away and started charging it after 2 hours of charging the battery percentage grew only 2% so I checked this forum and saw that it was recommended to charge for more hours so I left it 3 hours charging but it has charged only 1% more ie 3% my laptop is dell 1464 ( 2010) I need this laptop just for giving ppt nothing else I have a good pc .
