What graphics card can my PC handle? because im looking to upgrade

im looking to upgrade my graphics card but i dont know if my pc will handle the upgrade

Current setup:

Processor: amd a8-6600k apu with radeon(tm) hd graphics graphics 3.90ghz

RAM: 8 GB

I'd recommend the GTX 750 Ti or the R9 270X for system based on your processor.

my price range is about $433, and i was just wondering if i would need to upgrade anything else to upgrade my graphics card, i want to get a gtx 960 but i think i would need to upgrade something else.

960 would likely be overkill, the 950 can be a better option.

You need to check your PSU make and model first as it will need to supply enough power.

Honestly you would need a better cpu like the Athlon 860k to make the 950 or 960 worthwhile.

If your PSU is good quality, then a Athlon 860k + GTX 960 would be a good option.

I would consider the 860k a waste of money - the 6600k will do a fair job with a 960.
The 860k is probably 10% stronger absolutely max
